Under the hood: sources and method
- Each occupation is broken into its detailed work activities (O*NET DWAs). Each activity is scored on five AI capability dimensions, then damped by human-judgment and error-tolerance requirements. That is the technical ceiling.
- Your company profile (size, AI maturity, industry) sets deployment factors that discount the ceiling to what's practically reachable today.
- Your fully-loaded costs turn automatable hours into an annual value pool. It is sanity-capped at 15% of revenue and always reported with a confidence band.
- Functions are classified into quick wins, transformations, strategic bets, and foundations. Then ranked.
Model baseline-v3 (weights-v2, factors-v1). Built on O*NET 30.3 (CC BY 4.0), ESCO 1.2.1 (CC BY 4.0), and Statistics Canada NOC 2021. Estimates are directional, not guarantees.
